This annual one-day workshop for department chairs, leaders, and prospective leaders will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, 9:00 am–3:00 pm, the day before the JMM begins. The workshop will provide opportunities to share experiences with issues and trends that have an impact on math department chairs, math departments, and colleges and universities. Workshop topics include conflict management, making and delivering difficult decisions, AI for math departments, and ways to support students looking to enter industry. The organizers expect the workshop to help build a community of leaders who can continue to exchange ideas and offer each other support and advice.
